IBM Power of Technology

The Watson 'Jeopardy' Challenge, Oct. 6, 2010, 10 a.m.–11:30 a.m.

Q: What computing system can understand and answer complex questions with enough precision and speed to compete against some of the best Jeopardy! players in the world?


A: Watson – the IBM system that has been in development for three years and will soon compete on Jeopardy! in a classic man vs. machine contest that is already capturing national press attention. On October 6, leaders of the Watson project team from IBM Research will be the featured speakers at an IBM-Chattanooga Technology Council special event. Save the date – more details to follow.
