Technology Transfer Conference & Venture Forum

April 19, 2012, 8 a.m.2 p.m.

Chattanooga Convention Center
1150 Carter St
Chattanooga, TN

This valuable one-day conference will focus on technology transfer and commercialization. The conference will feature technologies linked to advanced manufacturing, renewable green energy, electric vehicles, and the medical device industry.

This year’s conference will also showcase inventions and technology from Y-12 National Security Complex, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, University of Tennessee, and other research institutions.  Attendees will be able to observe proto-types, inventions, and newly commercialized products.

The afternoon session of the conference will feature The Chattanooga Venture Forum.  Local technology companies will be presenting for investment capital.  Last year companies presenting at the Forum were ultimately successful in raising over $9 million in funding. The Forum is a great opportunity for companies to raise investment capital, and to educate future entrepreneurs on the path to funding and access to capital.

The conference will be held at The Chattanooga Convention Center on Thursday April 19, 2012 from 8:00am – 2:00pm with the Venture Forum from 2:00pm – 5:00pm.  This event is free to the public and lunch will be provided.  Participants must RSVP in advance as seating is limited.
