Chattanooga Technology Council August Meeting: Cloud Computing

Brian Prince, an Architect Evangelist for Microsoft, will be discussing what Cloud Computing is and why it is sweeping the industry by storm. He will discuss some of the advantages and common scenarios for cloud computing, as well as looking at common concerns, such as security, control, and legacy support. Brian will reference real customers who are using Windows Azure today.
Brian’s job is to help customers strategically leverage Microsoft technology, and help them bring their architecture to a super level. He is a co-founder of the non-profit organization CodeMash (www.codemash.org). He speaks at various regional and national technology events including TechEd.
Brian is the author of “Azure in Action” from Manning Press. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Physics from Capital University, Columbus, Ohio.
