Join us for a time of networking and education as a panel of healthcare professionals will share new and innovative practices and technologies in healthcare, right here in the TN Valley. These processes or tools help to drive continuous improvements in the delivery of care, improving outcomes, operational processes and lowering the cost of delivery.  Panelists will include:
 
Dr. Kimsey from Erlanger Hospital as he discusses 'Emerging Radiation Technologies at Erlanger Health Systems'. Erlanger Health System looks forward to treating cancer patients more efficiently and accurately with the use of the latest technology in radiation: CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery and Rapid Arc. Revolutionizing IMRT. Thus providing new hope to cancer patients in the Tri-State area.
 
Chuck Gallamore, IBM Healthcare Business Executive will discuss 'Transformation in Healthcare - The Patient-Centered Medical Home'. The US Healthcare delivery system is high cost, yet, so low in value. The Patient-Centered Medical Home care collaboration model is emerging as a means to strengthen the physician/patient relationship with a long term healing approach, enabling care to be delivered in a physician-directed comprehensive, coordinated, integrated and accessible environment.

Justin Neece, COO, Shared Health will discuss “Improving Outcomes Through Smart Information Exchange”. Shared Health explains how the use of innovative health care information technology in the practice setting is improving outcomes for patients and stakeholders.

Clemente Aquino, VP Rehab Practice Standards, Life Care Centers of America will discuss “Electronic Medical Record for Rehabilitation Services;  Converting from manual to electronic documentation”
